About

Architect, Designer and Urban Researcher at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University - Benguerir / Morocco with a focus on Strategic Spatial Planning in East African Cities. I am passionate about innovations and smart technology for more resilient and sustainable urban infrastructure and systems toward antifragility in African cities. I believe in the power of innovative ideas to challenge our realities and respond to social needs with outstanding solutions and test other adjacent possibilities and visions. I’m passionate about all fields which relate to architecture, and I treasure nature. A great urban/architectural project is inclusively co-designed to meet social and economic human needs and holistically protect and embrace its environment with creative design. I am learning and eager to deepen my experience in architectural practice and urban design and research on different subjects related to Smart African Cities, Urban Resilience and Sustainability, Urban Antifragility, etc. Besides I am co-founder and president at Daba.Cities, an organization that advocates and promotes compact and livable African cities to fight against accelerated urban sprawl to mitigate climate change and its effects.
