Alexander Quaas

Dr Alex Quaas is Founding Partner at Shady Grove Fertility in San Diego, California. He has trained and worked in multiple locations and settings: after medical school in England, residency at Harvard and reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) fellowship at USC, he completed a Master’s program in Clinical and Translational Science and the ASRM CREST scholarship while on faculty at the University of Oklahoma. From 2021 to 2023 he was Division Director of in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Basel, Switzerland. As current President-Elect of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (PCRS) he is very active in teaching and research in the field of REI, and his areas of special interest include international differences in the provision of fertility care and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in assisted reproductive technology (ART).
