Ana Luisa Muñoz-García

About

Ana Luisa Muñoz-Garcia is a Doctor in Educational Culture, Policy and Society from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Her focus has been educational research and construction of knowledge in academia, internationalization and gender in higher education. Today, she is the Director of the Department of Curriculum and Deputy Director of the Gender Office at the School of Education. About her research, she was leading a project on Gender and Knowledge in Academia funded by the National Agency of Research and Development (2021-2024). More recently, she was a researcher at the Millennium Project on “Trajectories of students in higher education” funded by Minister of Economy (2021-2024). She was also the President of the Chilean Educational Research Network (RIECH) 2018-2020.
