Arcangelo Massari

About

Arcangelo Massari holds a Bachelor's degree in Humanities and a Master's degree in Digital Humanities and Digital Knowledge from the University of Bologna. Arcangelo also works as a developer at OpenCitations, an independent not-for-profit infrastructure organization dedicated to open scholarship. He spent a year as a research fellow, during which he published OpenCitations Meta, a database that stores and delivers bibliographic metadata for all publications involved in the OpenCitations Index. Currently, Arcangelo is pursuing a PhD in Cultural Heritage in the Digital Ecosystem at the University of Bologna, along with a joint PhD in Engineering Technology at the University of Leuven. He is also a participant in the Doctoral Programme in Cultural Heritage organized by UnaEuropa. His doctoral project focuses on developing customized interfaces to facilitate the curatorial work of archivists, librarians, and museologists, agnostic to data formats and database types used for preservation.
