I am broadly interested in desert plant ecology but with a particular emphasis on plant nutrient cycle, carbon sink, biological nitrogen fixation, and plant physiology in response to global change, such as declining groundwater depth, increasing nitrogen deposition, and extreme precipitation, in an arid desert ecosystem.
