I am from Aotearoa/New Zealand, with ancestors moving there from England, Shetland, mainland Scotland, and possibly elsewhere between 1840 and 1939. I live in North Shields, England with my partner Hilary and our toddler Ishmael. I am a PhD researcher in Christian theological ethics at Durham University. I teach theological ethics at Lindisfarne College of Theology. I also work as a branch administrator and organiser for the Durham University branch of the UCU union. I have a Master's degree in theological ethics from the University of Notre Dame as well as sociology degrees from New Zealand universities.
