I’m a marine predator scientist and digital problem-solver with a knack for working at the edges—whether that’s sub-Antarctic islands, animal movement models, or AI-powered marketing tools.
Over the past decade, I’ve deployed trackers on fur seals, tagged and measured sea lion pups on remote beaches, and led fieldwork in wild and often harsh environments. These experiences sharpened my resilience, field coordination, and ability to make decisions with limited resources—skills that now also shape my research and tech work.
Currently, I’m a postdoctoral researcher at ANU working on movement ecology and spatial modelling for marine megafauna. I also run Smolsites, a digital marketing micro-agency helping chiropractors grow with clean, high-converting web funnels. Across both worlds, I value clarity, good systems, and creative solutions that actually work.
