About

I am a Researcher working at UiT-Arctic University of Norway. I have a PhD in Medical Biology with extensive training in molecular and cell biology. I have profound knowledge of basic immunology and immunological factors involved in disease progression (Ph.D. thesis - “Progressive lupus nephritis: Biological consequences of renal DNase I gene silencing”). My current research focus is on cell-cell communication mechanisms in Atlantic salmon focusing on the molecular pathways that govern cellular interactions in aquatic species.
