He Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Kahu ki Whangaroa ahau. Ngāi Tahu Research Centre and Fulbright NZ Alumni. I am a kaihautū/Māori research impact leader at Manaaki Whenua, Landcare NZ. My research focuses on using a wide range of tools and approaches, and multiple knowledge systems (mātauranga Māori and Western science) to support the environmental aspirations of whānau, hapū and iwi, from land-to-sea.
