Prof. Edgar R. Eslit, Ph.D., a Certified Student Affairs Services Specialist (CSASS) and the esteemed Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at St. Michael’s College in Iligan City, Philippines. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Language Studies and a Master of Arts in English Language Studies from Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology, Prof. Eslit is a true expert in his field. His talent for designing challenging and enriching activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of students has led him to publish several books, including “Study and Thinking Skills” and “Bansayon Nato and Binisaya”. Prof. Eslit is also an active member of several local and international organizations, including the English Language & Literature Teachers’ Association and the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language. His dedication to research has earned him accolades such as the Best Paper Award at the 6th International Conference on Humanities, Interdisciplinary Studies, Hospitality and Tourism Management in Singapore. As a diversified researcher, Prof. Eslit writes on topics such as Language Teaching and Learning, Folklore and Myth Literature, Cross-cultural Communication, Curriculum and Instruction, Environment and Ecology, and Internationalization. In addition to his research activities, Prof. Eslit has also been engaging in national and international research congresses as both a convener and speaker.
