Frank Houghton

About

Dr Frank Houghton is the inaugural Director of Social Sciences ConneXions at the Technological University of the Shannon and Principal Investigator of the HEALR and TAG (Tobacco, Alcohol & Gambling) Research Groups. He was formerly Chair & tenured Associate Professor of Public Health at Eastern Washington University (EWU) in Spokane, Washington State. His research interests are diverse and he routinely uses both quantitative and qualitative approaches in his research. As well as working in the US and Ireland, he has also worked in Public Health in New Zealand (Tairawhiti District Health) and in both research (University of Ulster) and social services (London Borough of Newham) in the UK.
