Junior Associate Professor of the Department of Child Development, College of Education, Kanto Gakuin University. Researcher of mathematics education, curriculum studies, and teaching methods. Interested in the new math movement (the modern mathematics movement, the modernization of mathematics education) in 1950s-1970s, especially in the U.S.A., and also interested in theories of curriculum design and practice inspired from early childhood education and care. Received M.A. in Education from the University of Tokyo (the Graduate School of Education). Born 1982 in Gohara town, Kure city, Hiroshima prefecture, Japan.
