Hua Xuan (Amy) Qin is a Ph.D. student at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). She graduated with Distinction from her undergraduate studies in Honours Computer Science and Psychology (minor) from the University of Waterloo in 2022. Her research interests surround the metaverse, human-computer interaction, generative AI, and creative writing. Her hobbies include writing fiction and poetry in English, French, and Chinese.
