About

I am a molecular microbiologist engaged in tuberculosis and mycobacteria research. The work in my lab is focused on: 1) Understanding the transmission and pathogenesis of mycobacterial infections. 2) Developing large-animal models of tuberculosis transmission and infection. 3) Developing improved tuberculosis vaccines and drugs. 4) BCG vaccine mediated trained immunity in humans and livestock species.
