Jay is a lecturer and program leader (Master of Engineering) at Auckland University of Technology (AUT), specializing in eco-friendly, refrigeration, heat pump systems, solar thermal cooling, thermal energy storage, and other sorts of energy conversion systems. With a PhD from the University of South Australia and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), Jay has a strong mechanical engineering background, especially in thermodynamics. He has authored numerous publications on thermo-physical engineering and has significant experience in both teaching and research. His involvement spans various projects, including an Australian Research Council (ARC) linkage project on adsorption refrigeration at the University of Adelaide, Australia. Jay is committed to advancing energy efficiency and environmental sustainability in industrial and commercial sectors.
