Jinping Xue

About

Dr. Jinping Xue is an environmental scientist and a postdoctoral research associate in the Environmental Sciences Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the U.S. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in environmental sciences, soil science, and environmental analytical chemistry from Southwest University, China (2017), the University of Alberta, Canada (2021), and the University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour, France (2024), respectively. His current research focuses on understanding mercury biogeochemistry in sediment-water ecosystems. His areas of expertise include environmental geochemistry and the aquatic chemistry of trace metals.
