Job Description:Fidelity’s Fixed Income Division manages over 1.2 trillion dollars and continues to see strong inflows into our funds. To support this growth and drive scale, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to be part of a growing team that supports our Personal Bond Management product. As a member of this team, you will partner closely with our investment team on the Fixed Income trading floor, and interact directly with quant analysts, portfolio managers, and traders to build new and innovative tools that will support and improve our investment process. The Expertise You HaveBS or MS in Computer Science or related degreeProven experience in a full stack software development environmentExperience working in cloud-based architectures preferred (AWS, Azure, etc.)Strong understanding of and experience within an Agile framework preferred The Skills You Bring5 + years of experience in software engineering and comfortable with a broad set of technologies, including Database development (Oracle, PL/SQL, Snowflake) and ETLYou have experience with Java and building RESTful APIs and familiarity with front-end frameworks like Angular (good to have, not required).You possess full-stack software development knowledge, understanding of software engineering principles and critical thinking skills to craft end-to-end solutionsYou have a passion to learn new things, especially Asset Management and Fixed Income investingYou are self-motivated, driven, and have a strong client focus and results orientation approachYou are comfortable deploying Java based middle tier services to AWS The Value You DeliverYou will deliver time-to-market solutions, helping our investment teams use technology in an exploratory, highly iterative environmentYou will help our investment teams evolve their investment processes, to meet both short-term needs and long-term trends, through the use of technologyYou will collaborate with Architecture, Data Services and other Technology Teams to improve the performance and scalability of our applications and workflowsYou provide outstanding support, including on-call support when necessaryCertifications:Category:Information TechnologyMost roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office.
