You will lead complex, end-to-end initiatives, influence architectural direction, and ensure our systems scale reliably while delivering meaningful business and customer impact.This role combines hands-on engineering, architectural leadership, and cross-team influence—working closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams across the organisation.What You’ll DoOwn and drive end-to-end full-stack solutions, from frontend experiences to backend services and cloud infrastructureLead architectural design and technical decision-making for scalable, distributed systemsAlign engineering solutions with business goals and customer outcomesIdentify and manage technical debt, making pragmatic trade-offs between speed and long-term scalabilityLead cross-team technical initiatives and align multiple stakeholders with end-to-end responsibilityMentor engineers across teams, raising the bar for full-stack engineering excellenceDefine and promote engineering best practices, standards, and reusable patternsContribute to internal and external tech talks, representing Omio’s engineering cultureEvangelize use of AI tools and automation in transforming how Omio designs, develops, and delivers softwareQualificationsQualifications10+ years of experience in Software Engineering (Full Stack or Backend), with strong hands-on full-stack expertiseProven experience building and evolving large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systemsStrong architectural judgment and experience leading system design at scaleExperience in high-growth startups or scale-up environmentsDemonstrated experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiativesAbility to collaborate effectively with Product, Design, and senior stakeholdersDemonstrated use of AI tools to accelerate SDLC Additional InformationLearn more about Omio Engineering and our Team:https://medium.com/omio-engineering https://omio.tech/radar Hiring process and background checksAt Omio, we work in partnership with Giant Screening or equivalent local agencies.
