I am a first-class law graduate who is enthusiastic about commercial, criminal and regulatory law. During my undergraduate studies, I excelled, allowing me to be awarded the Course Director’s Prize for the best overall performance across my cohort. Additionally, I was awarded the top module award for Criminal Law (83%), European Union Law (82%), Law, Technology and Innovation (85%), Company Law (86%), and the Law Reform Dissertation (92%). Currently, I am studying for my LLM in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice at the University of Edinburgh. I am grateful to have been awarded the Tercentenary Award for Excellence Scholarship by the University of Edinburgh Law School. I am committed to a career at the Bar in England and Wales. I intend to develop a wide practice in the commercial, criminal and regulatory spheres. I have a particular interest in representing children and vulnerable adults. I am a student member of The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. Contact: J.R.Ward-4@sms.ed.ac.uk
