Kathryne Hoyle Ford

About

Dr Kathryne Ford is a Lecturer in Curtin University's School of Education, where she also serves as Director of Learning and Teaching (non-Initial Teacher Education). She previously worked as a researcher in the School of Literature, Languages and Linguistics at the Australian National University, where she completed her PhD. Kathryne has a wide array of research and teaching interests, including biofiction, literacy, academic skills, creative writing, life-writing, cultural memory, gender studies, art, and narratology. Her articles on these topics have appeared in a/b: Auto/Biography Studies, The Dickens Quarterly, The Australasian Journal of Victorian Studies, and College Literature. Kathryne's current research projects investigate biofictional literacy, narrative agency, and student wellbeing and engagement.
