Global Payroll Service
Summary
Context The company had a large pool of talents and clients, which led to the decision to create our own payroll service. This service aims to help clients manage and pay their global workforce. With tight deadlines, five cross-functional teams were involved in the project. Challenge The project required clear and timely communication among the cross-functional teams to keep everyone on the same page. One challenge was using an existing library while also giving the new product a fresh, modern look. Additionally, the tight deadlines meant that designers, product managers, stakeholders, and engineers had to balance their priorities, often making necessary compromises to stay on track.
