Kirsten Sellars

Kirsten Sellars is currently Visiting Fellow at the Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs, Australian National University. She focuses on public international law and policy, with particular emphasis on developments in Asia. Her route into academia began with journalism, having written on international affairs for newspapers and publications including The Times, Guardian, New Statesman and Los Angeles Times. Her latest book, ‘Crimes against Peace’ and International Law (2013 and 2015), and her current edited volume, Trials for International Crimes in Asia (2015 and 2018), are both published by Cambridge University Press. Her first book, The Rise and Rise of Human Rights, was nominated as book of the year, 2002, in the New Statesman.
