About

After having obtained the Degree and Master in Classical Philology: Latin and Greek, 1988, Seville, Spain, I moved and worked in Belgium for longer than twenty years. During these years I held different positions in public administration and private consulting. Mainly involved in the field of human development, I tried to combine these activities with occasional academic research. On my way back to Spain in 2012, I recovered my dedication to the university. I worked on iD+I projects and, finally, I obtained a PhD in education: in political pedagogy. I started teaching as a professor at the Rey Juan Carlos University and the National Distance Education University. By lecturing on my beloved theme Historyof Education, my students are future social educators and preschool and primary school teachers. Theory of education and socio-family educational intervention complete my teaching subjects. So far, I have published some research papers on political education througout history. Beside this topic, I undertake investigations on current education policies.
