Liviu L. VIDICAN-MANCI (b.1981) He is a lecturer (associate professor) at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Cluj-Napoca in the Catechesis-Homiletics department; he obtained a Ph.D. in Church History in 2012 for the dissertation entitled ‘Cathars and Albigenses in 12th-14th c. Western Europe’, supervised by Fr. Prof. Ioan Vasile Leb, Ph.D., and a Ph.D. in Catechesis-Homiletics in 2019 with a thesis on ‘The Impact of Sermons and Catechesis on the “Digital Generation” as a Result of the Use of New Information and Communication Technologies’ written under the supervision of Fr. Prof. Vasile Gordon, Ph. D., and Prof. Adrian Opre, Ph. D. (from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences), pending publication at the Cluj University Press. He graduated from the Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca with a degree in Orthodox Theology in 2004, and Business in 2008. He has been a member of ADPMOPC (Association of Digital Media an Orthodox Pastoral Care, Greece) and of IOTA since 2019, and of CEEAMS since 2020.
