Luis Giraldo-Cadavid

Luis F. Giraldo-Cadavid, was born in Tulua, Valle, Colombia. He received the M.D. degree from the Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia, on October 1991. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Hospital Militar - Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, Bogota, Colombia; during his last residency year he served as chief of Internal Medicine Residents. After finishing his Internal Medicine training on February 1997 he became a Pulmonary Fellow at Hospital Militar - Universidad Militar Nueva Granada until February 1999, when he joined the faculty at the University of La Sabana School of Medicine. He was awarded as the best Fellow of Hospital Militar on February 1999. On January 29, 2016 he obtained his PhD degree at University of Navarra at Pamplona, Spain.
