About

Experienced Biotech Research Scientist passionate about Epigenetics, Cancer Research, and Drug Discovery. As a dedicated and accomplished Biotech Scientist, I bring a strong PhD / MS background in Biology and Biotechnology, along with 5 years of hands-on research experience in the fascinating field of Epigenetics and Cancer. My work has been supported by a $792,000 grant from the prestigious American Cancer Society, culminating in a first-author research paper that solidifies the rigor of my detail-oriented work. One of my proudest achievements is pioneering an international research project that resulted in a first-author publication showcasing the anticancer potential of extracts from the Peruvian plant Horsetail. This project not only showcased my passion for drug and target discovery but also highlighted my ability to deliver impactful results with translational relevance. It was the culmination of 7 years of dedicated undergraduate studies in Pharmacy and Biochemistry, shaping me into a well-rounded scientist with a strong drive to succeed and clear professional goals. In order to achieve these results, I have leveraged the following skills: Mammalian cell culture, In vitro screening, Dosing and IC50 analysis, Single-cell Cloning, Western blot, Chromatin IP, Quantitative real-time PCR. High-throughput Microscopy, Flow Cytometry, Live cell Imaging. NIS Elements, CellProfiler, ImageJ, GraphPad, FlowJo, Office, and basics of RStudio. Altogether, my solid knowledge on Molecular biology and Multiple image analysis software gives me the edge on optimizing workflows and driving innovative approaches to studying complex biological systems robustly and reliably. Currently, I am actively seeking a full-time position as a Scientist in the Biotech industry. I thrive in collaborative and competitive environments, and I am eager to apply my expertise and passion for discovery to contribute to cutting-edge research initiatives. With a versatile and iterative mindset, I embrace challenges and work diligently to achieve corporate goals alongside a team of dedicated professionals. If you are seeking a results-oriented and innovative researcher with a proven track record of success, I would welcome the opportunity to connect and explore potential collaborations. Let's work together to advance the frontiers of biotechnology and make a meaningful impact on human health. Please feel free to reach out to me to discuss potential opportunities or to learn more about my research contributions.
