Michael TATOULIAN
About
Michael Tatoulian received the Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering from Pierre et Marie Curie University (UPMC)–Paris 6 (Paris, France). Michael Tatoulian is currently full professor in chemical engineering at Chimie Paristech, head of the group « Plasma, processes, Microsystems » and deputy director of Chimie ParisTech since 2015. He is the author of 170 scientific papers (101 in peer revied journals), 6 patents, 10 keynotes, 2 plenary presentations and 45 invited talks. His group is specialized in plasma technology and it has also a solid expertise in targeting plasma-based processes to industrial applications, and holds recent patents. In 2013, his group reached the new institute named “Institut Pierre Gilles de Gennes pour la microfluidique”, aiming to develop applications of microfluidics and microreactors. In that context, a large part of his research work is now dedicated to the development of original plasma millireactors for chemical synthesis and valorization of CO2, CH4. In 2018, he is co-founder of a spin-off of the laboratory (ENERGO) specialized in the valorization of CO2 by methanation. In 2019 he launched the creation of Paris Flow Tech, a technological platform dedicated to the fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics sector, for a green and sustainable chemistry in continuous flow.
