About

A highly motivated scientist with strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively lead and integrate information from various disciplines in a collaborative environment. A dedicated researcher with seven years of experience and expertise in molecular pharmacology and chemical neuroscience excelling in: - Experimental design - Assay development - Optimization, - LC-MS/MS, - Pharmacokinetics, - Pharmacodynamics - Comprehensive data analysis - Data visualization I have a strong background in testing, analyzing, and validating novel therapeutic compounds. I am passionate about developing effective therapeutics and am committed to continuing this work, aiming to create innovative treatments that improve patient outcomes and enhance quality of life. As a dedicated researcher with seven years of experience in molecular pharmacology and chemical neuroscience, My expertise and research with rapid-acting antidepressants focused on the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profiling of compounds like psilocybin, where my work contributed novel findings on the interaction between drug-induced stress responses and anxiolytic efficacy. Furthermore, this work led to the testing of 7 alternative compounds, which resulted in the first direct pharmacokinetic evidence and validation for psilacetin as an alternative to psilocybin. I also performed a comparative study in collaboration with an industry partner, Psilera, to characterize the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profiles for different routes of administration. I am driven by a passion for advancing research that paves the way for innovative and effective treatments in mental health.
