Nazih Mechbal is a full professor and the director of the Processes and Engineering in Mechanics and Materials laboratory at Arts et Métiers (Paris), He has more than 20 years of experience as a researcher where his research interests include the development and application of theoretical methods of automatic control, signal processing to smart structures which cover structural control, structural health monitoring, and process control. He has managed numerous industrial and collaborative projects in that area.
