Orlando Amaral Cejas received, in 2012, a BSc degree in automation engineering and, in 2017, a MSc degree in digital systems from the Technological University of Havana, Cuba. During that time, his research was focused on improving the Cuban intelligent transport system. He also received, in 2023, a PhD degree from the University of Luxembourg, for his research on compliance checking of legal text according to the GDPR. In 2024, as a postdoctoral researcher in the Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT), he participated in multiple projects related to the analysis of financial documents. Currently, he is working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST). His main research interests include regulatory compliance, text analysis, machine learning, applied natural language processing, generative AI, federated learning, distributed systems, and cybersecurity.
