PhD in Business Science from the University of Barcelona, with a Master in Business Research from the same institution. My academic experience includes a Diploma in Strategic Marketing Management (UTPL) and a Professional Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Salamanca. Currently, I am an Associate Professor at Universidad de las Américas, I was Director of Research at ECOTEC University, where I lead projects focused on innovation and business sustainability. I have held leadership positions as Coordinator of the Business Administration Career and the Chair of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at UTPL, promoting sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation at the academic and business level. In addition, I direct the Research Group on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (GIE-UTPL), focusing on productive and sustainable development. I am a member of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Ecuador team and a delegate in the GUESS project.I have collaborated with prestigious international networks such as Babson College, the British Academy of Management (BAM) and CLADEA. My research has been published in high impact journals, exploring topics such as sustainability education and its impact on SMEs. I have also developed technological tools to support rural-gastronomic entrepreneurship, promoting sustainable tourism. My commitment to educational innovation and sustainable development is constant, applying advanced technologies and active methodologies in teaching to generate positive impact on society.
