Peter Bannister is a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the International University of La Rioja, Spain. As an early career researcher with over a decade of experience in English language teaching and academic management, I am focused on advancing research in generative AI, assessment practices, and educational policy. My research examines the integration of emerging technologies in English Medium Instruction (EMI) and the broader implications of AI on academic integrity and assessment in higher education. Actively involved in several funded research projects, I have presented and published my findings both nationally and internationally. I am committed to driving innovation in education through interdisciplinary research that tackles the evolving challenges of assessment in the digital era.
