About

As a veterinarian and doctoral researcher at Ghent University, I specialize in veterinary epidemiology, with a focus on biosecurity and antimicrobial use in food animals. Currently, I am engaged in research activities within the European Partnership on Animal Health and Welfare (EUPAHW), investigating topics such as farm biosecurity, antimicrobial resistance, animal welfare, herd health, and foodborne zoonoses. Utilizing an interdisciplinary One Health approach, I aim to contribute to the health and well-being of both animal and human populations through innovative research and collaborative solutions.
