Rafael Garcia Gutierrez

About

EL Dr. Rafael García Gutiérrez es Ingeniero Químico con doctorado en Ciencias en Física de Materiales. Es Profesor Titular de Física Estadística y Física de Celdas Solares en el Departamento de Investigación en Física de la Universidad de Sonora. El Dr. Garcia Gutierrez posee una amplia experiencia en el desarrollo de materiales opto-electrónicos nano-estructurados mediante métodos químicos y técnicas de depósito de películas delgadas (ALD, PLD, MOCVD). Cuenta con equipo de caracterización optoelectrónica, tales como un simulador solar para medir eficiencia en celdas solares, Electroluminiscencia, Termoluminiscencia y fotoluminiscencia. Su investigación esta enfocada en la Generación de Energías Limpias y Desarrollo Sustentable. El Dr. Garcia Gutierrez cuenta con 13 patentes y 145 publicaciones internacionales y nacionales. Ha organizado 15 congresos académicos. Ha participado como expositor en 129 congresos internacionales y nacionales. Ha dirigido 35 tesis, 9 de Doctorado, 16 de Maestría y 10 de Licenciatura y ha ofrecido 37 materias formales diferentes frente a grupo. Pertenece al Sistema Nacional de Investigadores con nivel 2 y al Registro CONACYT de Evaluadores Acreditados, concede entrevistas periódicas en Radio Sonora y Radio Universidad. Es Responsable Técnico de los proyectos 03 y 75 del CeMIE-sol y forma parte del Consejo Técnico Administrativo de la Red CONACYT de Energía Solar. El es Ex-Presidente de la Asociación Nacional de Energía Solar (2022-2024).
