Liscensed Pharmacist; PhD in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology Lecture appointment at the Goethe University Frankfurt for Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy My current research group "Translational Pediatric Pharmacology" focus on 3 major topics: 1) High-content image-based and metabolic functional drug response profiling on primary patient samples for direct translation into precision medicine, currently with focus on pediatric solid tumors; 2) The implementation of pharmacological and clinical parameters (DMPK) into drug sensitivity scoring to improve translation of ex vivo drug profiling results into clinic. 3) The development of automated bioinformatic analysis pipelines for drug response profiling and integration with DMPK and clinical data The highest goal is to perform translational research from "bed to bench and back to bed side" to directly improve the current treatment options for cancer patients.
