About
I am actively engaged in Library & information management services, with a focus on written/documentary heritage digitization and dissemination. My expertise encompasses documentation, digital libraries, digital archiving, and digital scholarly communications & Open Access . My primary research interests lie in theories & practices of documentation, conceptions of information science, digital access to written heritage, and human information behavior within the domain of Library and Information Science. I am more interested in the study of written artifacts, from analog to digital formats, including manuscript studies/codicology, the history of printing, and book culture, particularly in the context of Indology or, more broadly, South Asian studies. My current research interest lies in HTR/OCR for Poorly Endowed Languages (Low-resource Languages) and Dealing with Collections from Colonial Contexts in Libraries and Archives. I'm also excited about 3D digital imaging & Photogrammetry for rare books and manuscripts.
