Hi, I’m Stephen. My career journey has taken me from the bustling retail floors and warehouses of Dubai to leading supply chain operations across multiple countries. Throughout this journey, I’ve learned one key lesson: data is a powerful tool that transforms supply chains and drives business success. Long before data became a buzzword, I was already leveraging it to tackle real-world challenges and foster meaningful change.<br><br>During my internship at a leading oil services company, I tested drilling fluids and meticulously recorded results in Excel. Although I didn’t realise it at the time, those spreadsheets played a crucial role in influencing production decisions. This experience opened my eyes to how data can tell compelling stories and guide critical outcomes.<br><br>Later, while working in retail and warehousing in the UAE, I turned to data again to address practical challenges. As a Store Assistant, I noticed our company was losing money on shopping trolleys. Instead of just voicing concerns, I tracked trolley usage during peak and off-peak hours, experimented with availability, and presented my findings to management. This initiative not only saved the company a significant amount but also led to my promotion within a year.<br><br>My career progressed through various roles in warehouse operations, team leadership, and logistics management, playing key roles in scaling operations, ensuring stock accuracy, leading diverse teams, and managing logistics, all while relying on data insights and ERP/WMS systems.<br><br>Today, I identify as a Supply Chain Professional with a Data-Driven Edge, holding certifications in International Supply Chain Professional/Manager (CISCP/CISCM) and soon, a Diploma in Data Analysis (AltSchool Africa), to further enhance my technical skills.<br><br>What truly motivates me is witnessing the tangible impact of data and strategy in everyday operations—whether it’s a smoother-running warehouse, preventing stockouts, or enabling leadership to make informed decisions based on insights I provide.<br><br>I bring a strong foundation in logistics, forecasting, procurement, and ERP/WMS systems, combined with my expertise in data analytics tools like Power BI, SQL, Python, and Excel. Genesis Sales Data Analysis
Cleaned and transformed inconsistent transactional data in Excel to prepare for modeling. Used pivot tables and Excel formulas to uncover top-performing products, trends, and revenue drivers. Designed visual dashboards to support business decisions regarding promotions and stock prioritization.
Supply Chain Optimisation and Performance Analysis
This end-to-end project involved data cleaning, feature engineering, and advanced analysis of a global supply chain dataset. Data Analysis & Modeling: Used Pandas and NumPy in a Jupyter Notebook to prepare the data. Developed a Linear Regression model to understand how variables like Shipping Costs and Product Type influence Revenue, and used the output to drive strategic recommendations. Business Intelligence & Visualisation: Created a multi-page, interactive Power BI Dashboard that visualizes KPIs across key areas: Executive Summary: High-level performance metrics. Inventory & Production Insights: Stock levels, lead times, and manufacturing costs. Logistics Deep Dive: Analysis of carriers, transportation modes, routes, and shipping costs/profit margins. Outcome: Delivered a strategic analysis identifying bottlenecks (e.g., high-cost routes, slow lead times) and providing targeted recommendations for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
RETAIL GO (CAPSTONE PROJECT)
RETAILGO is an ongoing, market-ready mobile self-checkout solution developed as a capstone project at AltSchool Africa. Built through a collaboration with students from the Schools of Product, Engineering, and Data, this Althub Project is designed to solve the real-life problem of long retail queues and inefficient payment systems in Nigeria. The platform enables shoppers to scan and pay for items with their phones, providing a seamless and secure experience while helping retailers reduce costs. This project is on track to go live, showcasing my ability to contribute to a production-focused, interdisciplinary development cycle.

Applied SQL queries to an online bookstore dataset to uncover key trends in sales, customer behavior, and product performance, demonstrating strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Food Ordering App
This project details the development of a simple Food Ordering Application built with Python.
