About

I am a Doctor in agricultural engineering. Specialization: fuels from agricultural crops, bio-energy, life cycle assessment (environmental analysis), energy efficiency, energy savings and greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture. Has worked with mostly rapeseed oil (unrefined and RME = rapeseed methyl ester) and ethanol as a fuel and also with the by-products in the production of these. Most recently, I worked with energy efficiency, energy savings, greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture and life cycle assessment of forest to fuel via black liquor gasification. I have also worked with biogas, straw, hemp and energy grass as fuels. My research included everything from collection of samples in the field and the preparation of these, practical studies on farms, laboratory work in agricultural laboratory, wet chemical analyses in chemical laboratory, practical testing of agricultural machinery, environmental systems analysis, financial calculations and writing scientific articles and reports, as well as popular scientific articles. I have taught in agricultural energy, bio-energy and renewable energy. I have been deputy supervisor of a PhD student. I also have some experience in wind energy and solar energy. Have experience working with renewable energy and energy efficiency and lobbying for them in a non-profit organization (SERO - Swedish Renewable Energies Organization). Last in the Keep on Track project of international work at EU level in lobbying, primarily politicians of more renewable energy, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and energy efficiency. I am a member of several association boards of various items.
