Lecturer in Property Law, Newcastle University. AHRC-funded (North West Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership) [Grant Number: AH/R012792/1] PhD candidate in Law, University of Liverpool. My research analyses privately owned public spaces in England and Wales, and how private property rights inhibit the fundamental freedoms of expression and assembly under Articles 10 and 11 of the European Convention on Human Rights. I argue for the proportionate application of these freedoms to enable expressional activities on privately owned public spaces.
