About

Professor Leung is the Director of Children's Blood and Cancer Centre and Senior Consultant of the Paediatric Haematology Oncology Service at KK Women's and Children's Hospital, SingHealth, Singapore. He is a Distinguished Professor at Duke-National University of Singapore. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Hong Kong and Ph.D. from the Johns Hopkins University. He is certified in General Pediatrics and in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology by the American Board of Pediatrics. His research work focuses on the biology of human natural killer cells and memory T cells, specifically the clinical applications in hematopoietic cell transplantation and cellular therapy for cancers, infectious diseases, inborn errors, and immune disorders. He is an elected Member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation.
