Yi-Fan Tsai began his technical career in Taiwan’s traditional industries in 1987, later transitioning to managerial roles in Taiwanese enterprises in China. During this time, he acquired extensive knowledge in plastic molding and machinery. His interactions with predominantly Japanese clients also allowed him to learn about Japanese industrial technology and the Japanese language. He is confident in his ability to develop new technologies in the field of plastic molding and machinery, and continuously improve existing ones. In the face of the global development of Industry 4.0, Service 4.0, and Finance 4.0, data science is currently the most important knowledge. Even human resource management requires knowledge of data science. Tsai emphasizes self-learning and has actively registered for MOOC courses, obtaining professional certificates in Data Science from Johns Hopkins University, IBM, Google IT Support, Human Resource Management from the University of Minnesota, and Financial Management and Corporate Strategy Leadership and Management from the University of Illinois. The development of artificial intelligence is having a substantial impact on modern enterprises and business models. It must be combined with different disciplines. Therefore, he is currently focusing on learning and applying artificial intelligence and actively publishing journal research papers in the field of business management. He hopes to use these advanced technologies to transition to different functions in his career without being limited by past work experience.
