Doutor em Ciências Ambientais pela Universidade Federal do Pará (Brasil), Especialista em Georreferenciamento, Geoprocessamento e Sensoriamento Remoto pela Universidade de Sá (Brasil), Mestre em Engenharia Ambiental pela Universidade de Barcelona (Espanha) e Engenheiro Mecânico pela Escola Politécnica Superior do Litoral (Equador). Atualmente é professor e pesquisador da Faculdade de Engenharia em Ciências da Terra da Escola Politécnica do Litoral (ESPOL). Tem experiência na área de Geociências, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: sistemas de informação geográfica, sensoriamento remoto, mudanças no uso da terra, análise de paisagens e estudo de impacto ambiental.
