Head of the space imaging department at the Egyptian space agency, and a member of the board of directors, and national space committee; Ayman has a Bachelor of Communications and Electronics Engineering, MSc in Satellite Engineering, MBA - ESLSCA France, Ph.D. in Communications Engineering - Satellite Imaging Systems, and Post-doctoral research in small satellite tests - Japan. Ayman led teams in more than ten space projects, and recently, the principal investigator for Projects ClimCam Project Manager: A Camera for the International Space Station – UNOOSA Airbus – access to space 2021. Ayman is alumni of the space generation advisory council 2012-2015, a Member of the African space Working Group to Develop an African Space Policy and Strategy - African Union 2013-2017, Member of the Industrial Advisory Board, Coventry University. He has a patent in the field of improving the performance of electronic systems in the space environment, and more than fifty research papers in international conferences and journals related to space, satellites, and artificial intelligence. Areas of specialization and technical research: high-speed computer systems for satellites, hyperspectral space imaging systems, and the use of artificial intelligence systems, and technologies on board satellites (image and data processing).
