Dr Brydon Wang is an expert on the trustworthy development and regulation of AI and Construction technology. He researches on trustworthy decision-making in infrastructure delivery and data governance, with a focus on how technology can help increase climate-resilience in cities. He is dually qualified in law and architecture and advises on multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects with KPMG. Brydon practised as a construction and technology lawyer with global top-tier law firm Allens Linklaters and has a previous career in architecture and contract administration on award-winning construction projects and has over 15 years in the construction industry. Brydon was recently lead editor of the book 'Automating Cities' (Springer, 2021) and co-edited 'Large Floating Structures' (Springer, 2015), a book exploring how we can embrace floating structures in our cities to respond to the increased incidences of floods and sea-level rises. Brydon's expertise in technology and cities also extends to data-focused technologies such as digital twins, BIMs, smart construction contracts and the blockchain, and LLMs and contract interpretation.
