Cristina Domingues is a PhD student and a researcher (CIDTFF) in Education at the University of Aveiro. She holds a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures (English and German Studies) and a postgraduate degree in Educational Training (University of Coimbra). While studying at the German Universities of Freiburg, Kiel and Bamberg she enhanced her interest in German Language and Literature, leading to a postgraduate degree in German Studies, Literature and Culture. She holds a Master in Teaching EFL, from the University of Coimbra. Apart from being a certified teacher trainer by the Portuguese Scientific-Pedagogical Council for in-service Teacher Training, she was also a language teacher for 27 years.
