Daniel Hughes

About

I am an accomplished academic and tutor with experience working in universities in the UK and US. I am currently the Reach Higher Programme Lead at the Leeds-based charity The Linacre Institute, supporting students from ex-industrial towns in Yorkshire in our mission to get more state school pupils into the UK's top universities. My previous experience encompasses one to one supervision and support for diverse student cohorts, course and assessment design and delivery, and pastoral support; online and in-person across English Literature, as well as cross-disciplinary academic skills and academic writing support. In a freelance capacity I have provided editorial, research, analysis, examining and content writing services. I am an alumni of the Fulbright programme and have published a variety of work about modern Welsh literature.
