FRANCESCA BONELLI
About
Prof. Bonelli received her veterinary degree from the University of Pisa, Italy, in 2011, and a PhD in veterinary and agricultural sciences from the same university in 2015. She works as Associate Professor since 2022 at the University of Pisa. Her main research topic is about markers and biomarkers in different large animals’ conditions. Since 2022, she is the deputy director of the Agro-Environmental Research Center “Enrico Avanzi” of the University of Pisa, which includes a bovine research and teaching farm. She has authored 69 peer-reviewed publications (ORCID), she owns many oral interventions as invited speaker, co-authored a textbook on semeiotics and internal medicine in veterinary medicine and reviews manuscripts for a number of journals. Prof. Bonelli is the current Editor in Chief of the journal Veterinary Quarterly (ISSN: 1875-5941). In 2023, Prof. Bonelli achieves the title of European Veterinary Specialist in Bovine Health Management (Diplomat at the European College of Bovine Health Management).
