About
I am a Professor of Atomic and Molecular Physics (Accelerator-Based) at the University of Jordan (UJ), and a Principal Researcher at the University of Jordan Van de Graaff Accelerator (JUVAC) facility. I received all my degrees of physics (B.Sc. in September 2002 and PhD in January 2010) from UJ with the highest distinction. I worked as an Assistant Professor and Head of Physics at Rabigh-College of Sciences and Arts, King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia (2010-2013). I joined UJ as an Assistant Professor in September 2013 and got promoted to Associate and Full Professor of Atomic and Molecular Physics in June 2019 and June 2024, respectively. Since 2015, I have joined Elettra-Sincrotrone Trieste as a Research Fellow (awarded by ICTP). I am the founding supervisor of LAMBDA Physics Group at the University of Jordan: a group of physics lovers and fans dedicated to physics and science popularization, initiated at UJ since 2015.
