Md. Istiac Ahmed is working as a lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) of Green University of Bangladesh. His research works primarily focused on Photonics and Plasmonics. One of his research articles on plasmonic refractive index sensors achieved the Best Paper Award in ISITIA, 2020. Mr. Ahmed's other research interests include renewable energy and smart grid.
