JUAN IGNACIO GRANDE ARANDA
About
Doctor in Philosophy of Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and Diploma in Social Doctrine of the Church from the CEU Institute of Humanities "Ángel Ayala". He has developed his research activity at the Comillas Pontifical University of Madrid and currently at the CEU San Pablo University. His fields of research include Policies on Family, Childhood, Youth, Education and Bioethics. He has been the principal investigator of the CEU-Banco Santander pre-competitive research project “Anthropological foundations and psycho-pedagogical and legal implications of the double relationship of minors in foster care and in situations of family breakdown. Proposals for action in the field of social policies” and the CEU identity project, “The person and the protection of the weak: a historical, anthropological, social, moral, bioethical and bio-legal perspective of vulnerability”. He has been a member of the research team of the Project: "Educational system and territorial decentralization", of the Subprogram of non-oriented fundamental research projects, of the Ministry of Science and Innovation. He currently holds the position of Secretary General of the "Ángel Ayala" Humanities Institute of the CEU San Pablo University Foundation/ Doctor en Filosofía del Derecho por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y Diploma de Doctrina Social de la Iglesia por el Instituto CEU de Humanidades “Ángel Ayala”. Ha desarrollado su actividad investigadora en la Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid y actualmente en la Universidad CEU San Pablo. Sus campos de investigación comprenden las Políticas sobre Familia, Infancia, Juventud, Educación y Bioética. Ha sido investigador principal del proyecto precompetitivo de Investigación CEU-Banco Santander “Fundamentos antropológicos e implicaciones psicopedagógicas y jurídicas de la doble vinculación de los menores en acogimiento familiar y en situaciones de ruptura familiar. Propuestas de actuación en el ámbito de las políticas sociales” y del proyecto identitario CEU, “La persona y la protección de los débiles: una perspectiva histórica, antropológica, social, moral, bioética y biojurídica de la vulnerabilidad”. Ha sido miembro del equipo de investigación del Proyecto: “Sistema educativo y descentralización territorial”, del Subprograma de proyectos de investigación fundamental no orientada, del Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación. Actualmente ocupa el cargo de Secretario General del Instituto de Humanidades “Ángel Ayala” de la Fundación Universitaria CEU San Pablo.
